About
Our Club was founded in 1989. We have 30 members and are a member of the Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts.
Mission
To encourage and support the interests of our members in gardening, landscape and floral design; to provide service to the community through the beautification of public grounds, and in support of the conservation of our natural resources.
Monthly Meetings
We hold our meetings October through June on the first Thursday of the month at Saint Dunstan’s Episcopal Church in Dover. The meeting begins at 9:00 a.m. with coffee and refreshments. Our business meeting begins at 9:30 a.m., and the programs run from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Dues are $125.00 per year.

Projects
Our club is responsible for the planting and maintenance of the Soldiers’ Memorial year-round in downtown Dover. Just before Memorial Day, our members plant the Soldiers’ Memorial with colorful red, white, and blue flowers to honor Dover’s fallen servicemen and women.
We also maintain a colorful, seasonal entryway to Channing Pond on Springdale Avenue and Dover Sherborn High School on Junction Street.
We support the Massachusetts Horticultural Society’s Festival of Trees. We purchase and donate a Christmas tree that we have designed and decorated. The tree is then raffled off and given as a prize to a Festival attendee.
